Our 2007 GL1800 came with a stock steering stem. In other words, it was not raked out for easier steering. This really isn't a huge issue but there are some downfalls to this. One of which the the "Death Wobble" which will likely happen at slower speeds. I've felt this and it can be rather scarey. The very first time I ran in to this I thought, mistakenly, that I could get by with releasing the handle bars for just a few seconds. Well, such is not the case. We were traveling at around 35 MPH when the front end started to shake.
